Porting and Polishing Tips

Goodson offers three professional porting and polishing kits: DPK-100 Deluxe Porting Kit, PEPK-100 Pro Engine Prep Kit and CPK-100 Carburetor Polishing Kit. They feature professional grade abrasive tools (the same high-quality abrasives used by many top high-performance teams). Starter kits come with an assortment of abrasives and mandrels, plus instructions. (Replacement abrasive packs are also available.)

Use the Deluxe Porting Kit to remove metal and produce a satin finish on cylinder heads and intake manifolds. The Pro Engine Prep Kit helps restore the engines' original finish while removing gaskets, residue and casting imperfections. The Carburetor Polishing Kit will remove gaskets, casting seams and scratches, plus clean and polish venturis.
