All Goodson valve seat wheels are built to last and grind seats accurately

All Goodson valve seat wheels are made with brass bushings that resist galling or seizing to the stone holder. The bushings are attached to the abrasive with a permanent epoxy that is heat-cured to prevent loosening. The bushings are also deeply set to expose the most grinding abrasive to give you longer valve seat stone life. Every wheel is pre-trued and checked to ensure accurate, vibration free grinding.

Select from six abrasive formulas

General Purpose: A good all-around abrasive that is ideal for removing mateial from cast-iron seats or inserts.

Cool Blue: A superior general purpose stone designed for high performance Beryllium seats. It is more aggressive than the standard General Purpose or Ruby stone.

Ruby: The original Black & Decker general purpose abrasive composition.

Stellite: Specially formulated to grind Stellite and other types of hardened seat inserts such as used in diesel and industrial applications.

Nickel Chrome: For aluminum heads with chrom-alloy seat inserts. This abrasive won't load up or groove.

Finishing: A hard stone to give an ideal final finish with minimal stock removal.
