VGS-20 Sunnen – I want to upgrade seat cutters

I recently purchased a used Sunnen VGS 20. It has the early style seat cutters. I would like to upgrade to a better three angle type setup…the main reason for this is I have alot of sioux pilots with the .385 top and this machine only came with five sunnen sized pilots. I dont want to have to buy a bunch more pilots. Or is it a bad idea to use expandable pilots for this application? What do you suggest a 3dfastcut system? What all would I need to upgrade?

Moving to the 3-D system is always smart. Price and availability, let alone performance dictate this. A critical element hear is pilots, no matter the brand used. We need all the ridgidity we can muster. This is provided by solid pilots of high speed steel or ultimately carbide. Adjustable pilots are not in the mix.
